The purpose of our preschool program is to prepare children to enter kindergarten.
We believe in partnering with you to do so.
We believe parents are the first and most important teacher in a child’s life. It is you, the parent(s) who play a critical role in preparing your child for success with the assistance of the school; not the role of school with the assistance of parents.
We welcome your involvement and invite open communication with your child's teacher.
We use a play-based, hands-on learning approach in our classrooms using the OWL, Handwriting without Tears and ZooPhonics curriculums. The combination of these curriculums and assessment with instruction by our MN licensed teachers earns our program the highest rating from MN Parent Aware. Watch the video below to learn more about the rating system.
We offer a 2 day, full day program that runs the length of the school year. Transportation to and from may be available, check with Tracy Voigt at 320-630-3475 with questions.
For the 2022-23 school year, classes will be offered on Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday with Fridays utilized for intervention and make up days.

Handwriting without Tears
Handwriting Without Tears promotes proper grip and strength PRIOR to starting to write. Preschool will teach children to write their name using all upper case letters starting in January. If you want to help your child, encourage lots of strokes starting at the top ad pulling down while using the proper grip. Build their hand strength before writing their name.

OWL- Opening Worlds of Learning
ZooPhonics
ZooPhonics will help students learn the letter 's name and sound by adding actions and a physical element to the learning. You can help your child learn their letters by reading with them, naming letters in their name or give them a list when grocery shopping and point out the first of items. Letters that are personal (such as their name or favorite snack or restaurant) are easiest.
