Mrs. Jaime Strohmeier
Greetings! My name is Jaime Strohmeier and I'm the 10th-12th grade SLD Special Education Teacher at Pierz Healy High School. I'm a graduate of Isle High School, Central Lakes College and Minnesota State University-Moorhead. I obtained my masters degree from the University of St. Mary's in 2009. This year is the start of my 18th year teaching, the last 17 years were spent teaching Health Education at Isle Public Schools. I've had the opportunity to coach volleyball and basketball at the junior high, c-squad and junior varsity levels along with being an advisor for the National Honor Society, Student Council and Yearbook. During my tenure at Isle I was the Athletic/Activities Director for five years.
My husband Jim and I live in Little Falls with our two daughters, Courtney, a freshman at Pierz Healy High School and Lyndsey, a sixth grader at Pioneer Elementary School. We also have two dogs, Clyde, our Springer Spaniel and Blaze, our yellow Lab. Some of my favorite activities and hobbies are golfing, volleyball, basketball, reading, fishing, summer bonfires, pontoon rides and spending time with my family and friends.
I'm very excited to get to know people of the Pierz Community and all of my students and families. I look forward to meeting you all!
Attendance is of the utmost importance for all Pierz students. Non attendance (to one of my scheduled classes) typically means missing out on the opportunity to receive individualized instruction or assistance with assignments.
