Mrs. Jessica LeBlanc - Math teacher, golfer, camper and mom extraordinaire

Hello! My name is Jessie LeBlanc and I have been a math teacher at Pierz Healy High for the past 12 years. I currently teach some 8th grade, some 9th grade, and College Algebra. I am also the Varsity girls golf coach and the assistant volleyball coach. I am on many teams and committees at the high school, but my favorite part of my job is working with the kids. It is a very rewarding job.
I grew up in Pierz as the oldest of eight and attended Pierz. In high school I was involved in many activities including golf, volleyball, choir, drama, math league and student council. After high school, I attended Bemidji State University to earn my teaching degree and was fortunate enough to be able to be a part of their golf team. After college, I taught at Brainerd High School, St. Cloud Cathedral, and Onamia high school. I was fortunate to be hired in Pierz before my children started school.
I am married to Randy LeBlanc and we have four children. Addie is a freshman in high school and is involved in volleyball and golf. Bryce and Braden are both 7th graders and between the two of them are involved in football, the musical and spring play, wrestling, and golf. Whitney is a 5th grader at Holy Trinity and is in volleyball and basketball and plans on joining golf in high school. They keep us very busy.
When I am not at school, which is not very often, I enjoy golfing, reading, and spending time with my family. We like to camp, fish, and enjoy vacationing together.
Pierz is an amazing community that I am grateful to be a part of. I am thankful that my kids get to attend a school that has great teachers and challenges my kids to do the best they can. Pierz is always looking for ways to improve the education of all children. Most importantly, Pierz schools are filled with wonderful people, including staff, students, and parents who only want the best for all. Thank you to everyone who has impacted me and my family. We are proud to be Pioneers!
