Community Education Programs give you the opportunity for participation and sharing of what the school has to offer to help you in learning a new skill, developing an existing talent, having fun or recreating.
Community Education has an advisory committee. The purpose of the committee is to provide input into the planning, growth, development and evaluation of the Community Education program in District 484. Meetings are held quarterly throughout the year. Current members include: Amber Cekalla, Jim Gerwing, Mary Gritzmacher, Kristine Hoheisel, Dale Janson, Tammy Saehr, Howie Schomer, Lynn Woitalla, Superintendent George Weber, Board Member Rick Sczublewski and Director Sarah Funk. If you have an interest in serving on this committee, please feel free to contact any of the members listed above.
Community Education is always looking for individuals interested in sharing their skills, hobbies and talents with other members of the community. If you would like to "teach" a class, give us a call, we will be happy to discuss any ideas or suggestions and salary.
Class sizes are limited, registration will be on a first come first served basis. Classes with insufficient enrollment will be canceled on the registration deadline. Please assume the class or activity you are registered for will meet unless you are notified by phone of its cancellation.
