Pierz Independent School District, #484 partners with Central Lakes College to offer the following college credit courses to our 11th and 12th grade students. Students who successfully complete these courses generate both high school and college credit from the partnering postsecondary institution.

There is no cost to the student to participate in these courses, but there are entrance requirements. These courses provide high school students advanced skills today and greater flexibility when they enter the university setting full-time. That may include pursuing second majors and internships or studying abroad.

Students must meet the following eligibility requirements in order to enroll in CIS courses at Pierz-Healy High School:

Minimum GPA Requirements: Juniors = 3.0 GPA, Seniors = 2.5 GPA
*Students must also take the Accuplacer test & achieve a minimum score as predetermined by the Central Lakes College staff.
